Hatchet 3 (2013) is the third film of horror in the Hatchet Series. It follows the murderous adventures of Victor Crowley across Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp. Kane Hodder plays Victor Crowley and Brian Quinn is Deputy Winslow. Rileah Vanderbilt plays Misty.



The film's special effects are its biggest strengths. Hatchet 3 uses a lot less CG effects than other horror films. This allows some truly frightening moments to be captured throughout the film.

Hatchet 2's boat house was used only once, and the remainder of the footage seems like it was duplicated from previous films. Overall, Hatchet 3 was enjoyable although it was very similar in tone to previous entries in the series. It was filled with thrilling thrills and entertaining performances by its cast members.
